Our Publications
The Verbiest Foundation publishes the outcomes of its research in various formats. We share these findings through our own series, such as Leuven Chinese Studies, as well as through external publications. Publishing our research supports our mission to teach and educate about the Church. We publish in four different languages (Dutch, English, French, and/or Chinese), allowing us to reach a broader audience.
Series
A series of book-length studies on Sino-Western relations in general, and on the history of the Catholic Church in China in particular and our own magazine, the Koerier.

Partner institutions and occasional publications
We also support the publication of books by partner institutions.
The proceedings of our International Symposia and some occasional seminars, as well as a number of congratulary volumes are some examples of our occasional publications
Titles on deposit
The Institute has a stock of out-of-print China-related books and brochures, printed and locally circulated in Belgium. This includes missionary or apologetical materials published by or about Belgian CICM missionaries in China or Mongolia.
We also have a limited number of doubles from the Scheut CICM Memorial Libraries for exchange. For more on this, please contact our librarian.
